Taken Thursday 12 September this was an incredible aurora that I could see the red glow in the sky with the naked eye.  It was very brief and gone as quickly as it arrived and I only caught the tail end of it. It was also being washed out by the very bright moon.  Taken with a canon 6dmkii, sigma 14mm f1.4 lens, single 15 second shot @ f2.8 and ISO 1000.
