Geoff Hocking will be exhibiting a selection of his landscape paintings in the MANet Art Gallery from Friday 4 April until Friday 9 May. The Exhibition will be opened on Sunday 6 April at 2 pm. The exhibition ‘A Reconstructed Landscape’, features new work in which Geoff imagines a landscape being rebuilt after the devastation and ravages of the gold rush. The impact of which can still be seen although 150 years have passed.

After a torturous drive on the unsealed back roads of Castlemaine, I finall
